Happy Saturday (or whatever today is), blessings to you for another weekend. Spring is here, spring is here, let’s all give a great big cheer. Also TGI Saturdays is celebrating a mini milestone. This party has been officially operational for 10 weeks, yeeeeaaaah! So let’s celebrate!
For those of you now heading into winter. I pray that your winter is not too bad and that God provides you all you need to get through it.
This week for TGI Saturdays, I’ll be doing a little wrap-up featuring some of the post that stood out to me this month base on what’s been on my mind.
My thoughts have been focused on trying to wait on God. I have shared in my series “Transitions: Waiting For Season of Change.” How much I have been desiring to move into a house with a bigger space, so I can be able to manage my new family dynamics a lot better. We are growing out of our apartment in more ways than one. Here is what other bloggers, and myself been saying on the topic of waiting.

Been considering trying out cloth diapers. My husband doesn’t think I’d like the extra work that goes in to it, but maybe he is the one who won’t like it very much. I don’t think it is going to be the way he think will be. He needs a little convincing. Hey, it can’t hurt to try. Here are some blog post I have been reading about cloth diapering?

Been thinking about friendship too. Friendship is an area of my life that I have been praying about for many years. I have always felt like an alien wherever my life has taken me, and have never found like-minded friends who I have connected with. I have had people in my life here or there but none that sticked. God has blessed me with one best friend in my husband, but I still pray for kindred spirit friends. Becoming a part of the mom blogger community, where I daily meet many like-minded women, I don’t feel so alien any more. God is opening those friendship doors, I can feel it.

Now Let me share what’s up with TGI Saturdays:
To be honest, I loved all the post linked up this week, great recipes, great tips, and great adventures. There was one in particular the got my attention. A blogger who shared that she was feeling depressed, even though it is so beautiful outside, I encourage you all to pray for her. Not that I’m playing favorites, but three post I enjoyed reading this week came from one blog – maryandmarthashouse.com

Surviving a Season of Loss
Teaching our Children Self-Respect God’s Way
My most favorite link of all, was this recipe from MyOverflowingCup.com– The Easiest Bread You’ll Ever Make. I’d recommend this recipe for anyone looking for a no-knead, easy way to make bread. It really is so simple and my bread tasted good, had a great texture and looked good. I’m going to have some for breakfast. I’m truly impressed with this recipe. Go for it!
Thank you so much for your sweet mention, Latisha of Mary and Martha’s House. I have enjoyed so much the link ups with all the wonderful blogs that visit TGI Saturday Blog Hop. It is so fun to share posts, dreams, and goals with other bloggers and I ponder every one I read. We have so much to share with each other. Keep up the wonderful sharing and blessings to you and your family !!!!
I’m glad my post about “waiting” was a blessing to you. Waiting can be the hardest and most rewarding thing to do. I hope you are blessed with that bigger house soon.
Thank you for featuring my cloth diaper post! FYI, my husband is still not a big fan of cloth diapering but it doesn’t matter because I do most of the changes anyways! Good luck with your cloth diapering decision. Btw, just discovered your blog hop! will definitely link up this week.
Thanks so much for hosting and for sharing The Easiest Bread You’ll Ever Make!
I really appreciate it, Latisha.
Blessings to you and yours.
As someone who did cloth diaper–it really isn’t that much more work. You just toss the diaper into the pail instead of the trash. When the pail is full you take it to the laundry instead of the outside trashcan. And then you carry them back to baby’s room from the laundry room instead of from the store. It’s really not that complicated once you figure out what you’re doing, though it can be overwhelming right at first :)
Thanks so much for featuring my giveaway this week! I’ve had a hard time getting people to join in. But really, as someone already said, cloth diapering is not that much more work. My husband doesn’t change them and the few times he has I’ve come home to find the dirty (offending) diaper out on the back deck, lol. I’ve never seen your blog before but look forward to coming back and hanging out more.
Thanks so much for hosting! I have added my posts and have added TGI Saturdays to my link party directory here: http://linkyhere.blogspot.ca/2015/01/saturday-link-party.html
Thank you for the party, always so good to meet new people so thanks!
So many cool things here Latisha!
Thanks for sharing my cloth diapering post too!
Wishing you a lovely day.
xoxo
