A Christmas tree has always been one of my favorite treasures of Christmas. I think a Christmas tree, especially light up is one of the most beautiful things in the world. I’d like to invite you to come on a journey with me as I reflect on my Christmas trees through the years and how my life has evolved from Christmases past until now. Blessings to you and enjoy.
CHRISTMAS 2007
This was our first Christmas tree in the United States. We lived with my mother-in-law at this time. This is our first real Christmas tree as a family. It’s the biggest tree I’ve ever had. This is the first and so far last time we used sprinkled fake snow on and under our Christmas tree. I loved it.
Our daughter (our first born) was 1 year old. This would be her second Christmas.
Lost my 2008 pics. Very Upsetting!

CHRISTMAS 2009
This was our second born child, first born son’s first Christmas. This was our second Christmas in our apartment.
Christmas 2010
This was my daughter’s first year of preschool. See that cup ornament, she made at school.
That big box in blue wrapping paper is a red wagon from Family Dollar, that bought our kids plenty of joy through the years.
Really feeling Christmas peace at this moment!
CHRISTMAS 2011
This would have been our third born child, second son’s first Christmas with us, he was born November 14th. However, he spent that Christmas and all others to come with God in Heaven.
This was also our first Christmas with the Holiday Express (train under the Christmas tree). Look how beautiful our little princess is becoming. She gets more beautiful every year. She is 5 years old here.
Don’t know how He did it, but God managed to give us a wonderful Christmas, despite our family’s incredible lost a little over a month prior. He sent a family who were very good to us that Christmas and for many years to come. Still to this day.
CHRISTMAS 2012
This was the year Grandpa (my dad) spent Christmas day with us. What a wonderful blessing that was.
See those two collage picture frames on both sides of the tree. Those are all pictures of our son Kaiden, who died the year before. Those photos were taken the year he died.
A Christmas tree is most magical when it is all lit up, but I haven’t been able to capture its beauty and essence with my camera as yet. I wish this photo reflected what I was really seeing.
CHRISTMAS 2013
Another blessed Christmas! This year my daughter was 7 years old and my first born son was 4 years old. This year we welcomed a new addition to our family-my firecracker son (4th born child, third born son). This was his first Christmas and he was 6 months old.
We had lots of presents under our tree, but the best gift we got that year, wasn’t under there.
CHRISTMAS 2014
A new helper to help decorate the tree and to make sure the ornaments got their daily exercise.
Another tall and grand Christmas tree. What a blessing!
Look how my Christmas flowers have bloomed!
Another Christmas Gift!
CHRISTMAS 2015
Would you just look at that! Oh, how I’m blessed!
Now we have two little helpers to make sure the ornaments get their daily exercise.
Still growing!
Oh, beautiful Christmas tree!
Our first Christmas in our new home. Thank you God for your blessings on me!
I’m looking forward to see what magic this Christmas season brings and all our family’s Christmases to come!
