greetings

Hi friends and fellow children of God,

Hope all is well with you today and that you had a blessed week. Wishing you many blessings to come your way. This is TGI Saturdays 54th gathering and I’m so glad you were able to join us today. This is my last updated post that I’ll be posting for a while, then for the next following Saturdays (Feb 6th-June 11th) I have pre-scheduled a TGI Saturdays post to publish every Friday morning at 6 a.m.

In case you’re not sure why I am doing that, it is because in about 6 weeks or so, I will be having a baby. No, I don’t know the sex, I’ve chosen that to be surprise this time around. So I’ll let you know when I return. I’m very much looking forward to Spring for more reasons than one and I pray many of my hopes come to be. What are your Spring hopes?

I’ve got a confession, when I first learned I was pregnant, I was, for lack of better words concerned. I was just not ready to do this again so soon, especially in this season of transitions for our family (moving to a new State). We didn’t have any transportation in a town where you really need one. We didn’t have any family or friends nearby-still don’t, we didn’t have a Church home-still don’t. I just didn’t know how I was going to manage.

Now here I am about to come to the end of that season and begin a new one. Things are changing, the wait is coming to an end. We have made it this far and I know how we did it-BY GOD’S GRACE!

I just can’t give up now
I’ve come too far from where
I started from
Nobody told me
The road would be easy
And I don’t believe He’s brought me this far
To leave me

I am about to embark on another season that may be even more challenging than the last. We’re going to have to figure out our family dynamics once again, a baby, two toddlers, a kindergartner and a fourth grader. May God continue to pour His mercy, blessings, guidance, protection, wisdom, courage and strength into our lives. I pray He sends a little support and help our way. I pray, though it may be a challenge, that we enjoy this new family adventure.

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, support and love. Thank you for linking up, for commenting and for reading my weekly post. I look forward to catching up with you in June. In the meanwhile, I’ll still be reading your comments and replying when I can. I hope you enjoy the pre-scheduled post I prepared.

By the way, I could still use some Guest-bloggers if you are interested, it would really, really, really be appreciated. Check out the info below. Thanks to those of you who have already volunteered to help this weary momma.

Christmas Seperation

guest post

I would like to invite some of you to help me out during my new mommy season. You all know what it’s like having a new born in the house, sleepless nights, regular feedings and diaper changes, etc. Plus add that to the fact that there are 4 other children in my home whose needs also need to be met, including two little ones under 2. My husband and I’s hands are going to be extremely full. God help us.

I am currently preparing a series of pre-scheduled TGI Saturdays post for the next few months (Feb-June), while I prepare for baby’s arrival and for the first three months of baby’s life. I’ve already taken care of the first ten weeks and I’d like to invite you to guest post and fill in a spot or two the following nine weeks. I’m looking for inspirational 4-5 paragraph posts on themes like Spring (April), Motherhood (May) and Summer (June). You can send me newly written text or old inspirational posts in need of new eyes to read them from your own blog. I’d really appreciate the help. E-mail me if you can help at latisha@asklatisha.com.

Here are the dates I’d like filled:

TGI Saturdays # 64- April 16th

TGI Saturdays # 65- April 23rd

TGI Saturday # 66- April 30th

TGI Saturday # 67- May 7th
