Hi Guys,

How are you today? How has your week been? My week as always was a blessing from God. I am thankful I had another week to laugh, cry, complain, whine, hug, kiss, smile, eat, sleep, observe, do, have fun and get creative.

I won’t lie to you, I had a few meltdowns this week. Waiting on God for a change in my life, but just like I am going to have to wait for the winter to subside to enjoy the spring, I’m going to have to try to wait patiently with the right attitude. That is not always easy.

The snow where I live is crazy right now. We had up to 3 inches of snow last week and we are suppose to get more. It is times like these I am glad my children are homeschooled and we work at home. It is treacherously dangerous out there. People have to wait for buses and walk in the street, because there is barely anywhere to walk on the sidewalk.

This week I tried a new fun snack recipe Snickers Pretzel Bites from SummerScraps. Mine doesn’t look as great as hers, but my kids absolutely love this snack and enjoyed helping in creating it. It is a great little kitchen time activity with the kids.

My kids created some more cool Lego pieces again this week. I highly recommend Legos as a great toy for kids who like building things. I am amazed at the combination of things you could create with Legos and the things you could do with them. Below  is a Jake (Jake & the Neverland Pirates) creation my kids and I put together. You can just call him Pirate, if you like. They also made a Lego Mermaid, a Lego Kitty and a Lego Puppy. Do your kids like playing with Legos?

Below is a Horse Sketch (colored with colored pencils) my eight year old Sunflower (my daughter) made. I am so proud of her. She is getting to be a gifted artist.
