Every week it’s like you don’t really want to see anyone go because they are so good. I have already lost two favorites that I would have like to see more of, Hip-Hop Dancer Robert and Tap Dancer Nick.

I thought some of the guest Judges this year, seemed like strange choices to judge this kind of dance show and even though they are funny chicks ( Megan Mullally, Debbie Reynolds, Kristen Chenoweth) and it was funny at times to listen to their input. I thought they did not really have anything useful to say that could help cultivate the dancers, kind of like Ellen as Judge on American Idol.

I am so glad Mary Murphy and the Top 20 is back this season, I truly missed them both last Season, but I am glad the show is going half and half, keeping both the Allstar edition of the show and the Top 20. I don’t really have a favorite to win as yet, but whoever does ultimately win will deserve it because they are all incredible dancers. I can also say, I think the lone Broadway dancer on the show Jess has a real Broadway/movie star power about him, as do Robert and Nick (both eliminated). They are all round entertainers. I also think Tadd, Jordan and Sasha are awesome. I think Clarice is very beautiful, and Marko and Melani make a great coupling. What do you think?

Premiere Date: 14th June 2011

Episode Title: “For Better or Worse”

Episode Summary:

The episode starts at Christina’s and Tom’s backyard wedding. Christina is beautiful, smiling, and happy and her dress is beautiful. The ambience is gorgeous. Then they very soon made us aware that Christina neighbors are about to take a family trip and some workers are about to cut down a tree or something like that. Christina and Tom says their “I dos,” but basking in their wedding bliss is shortlived and immediately you hear a loud crash, a tree has fallen on her neighbors vehicle as they were about to leave.

You see Christina running to the scene in her beautiful wedding dress holding her pregnant belly.

Fast forward to later that night, the family is fine; and Christina and Tom are happily ready to head home and get their wedding night going. Tom is called into a meeting and Christina heads to the parking lot on her own, while talking to Tom on her cell. While still on the cell with Tom, someone who you couldn’t see their face, comes up behind her and smashes her head into her car glass window, then throws her to the ground, punches her, kicks her, really beats her up.

Fast forward a little bit more, Tom and Christina, along with some of their peers are doing everything in their power to save their baby, while Nurse Candy (pretty blonde nurse) is having hers in another room. Meanwhile Detective Nick Renata, a man who deeply cares for Christina, is out there looking for the perpetrator, with the one lead Christina remembered; he had a ring with a red stone in the middle. In the final minutes of that episode, apparently by the end of the night, Detective Nick returns with the ring, gives it to Christina and tells her “sleep well.” Cue the music.

5 Reasons why I watch Hawthorne:

1.) Jada Pinkett Smith is one of my favorite actresses, since “Low Down Dirty Shame.”
2.) Hawthorne does have some compelling stories
3.) There was this one episode in Season One, that took my breath away. Season 1, Episode 9, “Mother’s Day”
4.) Christina Hawthorne is a confident, strong, intelligent woman, a good mom, a hard-worker and a fighter, an epiphany of a women of strength, the kind of woman I’d like to strive to be
5.) The actress Jada Pinkett Smith seems to be that kind of woman too

My Review of Season 3, Episode 1

I think that wedding was a total reflection of what a Christina Hawthorne wedding would be like. At one point Christina was asked if that was her dream wedding and she said yes, you know, I really think she meant that.

At the point, when Christina was being beaten in the parking lot, I thought, wow, that person must really hate her to do something so evil, what could anyone have done to someone so bad, that they deserved something like that.

So as much as trying to save their baby made for good medical drama, I wanted more answers. None was really provided in this first episode and I would feel very angry and cheated if none would be provided in the next one either.

Nevertheless, it was a very interesting way to reintroduce Detective Nick Renata back into the series. Let’s see where it all goes from here.

Season Three, episode Two “Fight or Flight” premieres Tuesday, June 21, at 10/9 c.

Looks like it’ll be awesome. I’m anxious to see them pick up from where they left off last week. Last episode it looked like Alex shot Nikita. Do you think it was staged or do you think she’s angry at Nikita for being the one who actually pulled the trigger and killed her father?

Do you think Nikita and Alex had a contingency plan for something like this? I know one thing is for sure; tonight’s finale will reveal a lot of surprises and answer some questions. I also heard one of the principal characters is going to die tonight. Who, who? Are you a Nikita fan? Will you watch?

In other t.v news, looks like there is a possibility NBC’s Chuck might get a Season Five afterall. Read article. Keep your fingers cross, Chuck fans! We’ll know soon enough.

You hear about TV shows getting canned here or there around this time of year, but since this is my blog and I’m pressed for time these days, I’ll only be sharing about the shows I watched, Human Target being one of them.

I thought it was cool, moderately entertaining, didn’t like the revamp of Season Two, so much, those two chicks I could have done without, especially the character Ilsa Pucci. Have to say, not surprised about the cancellation though, it was a cool show, but not good enough to pull high ratings and live a long happy life.

This is a cancellation that doesn’t bother me one way or the other. I will however miss seeing these two guys (seen below) on TV. I’m looking forward to see what their next projects will be.

Did you watch Human Target? Is this cancellation a surprise to you?

Not that the show has disappointed me or diminished in quality or mystery in anyway. When last I watched, it was still pretty interesting; although the relationship between Stephen and Elena was starting to bore and irritate me a bit. Unfortunately just like with the dumb Twilight series, I began rooting for the doomed relationship (Team Jacob/Team Damon).

Just to talk about the Twilight series a little. I think the first flick was a little below alright but it didn’t suck; it was just a little dumb. With the introduction of the love triangle in New Moon I thought it might get a little more interesting and even a bit sexy (at least the trailers had that vibe), however, it turned out to be a pointless, pathetic and selfish (Bella), pointless, lovesick and irrational (Bella and Edward), disappointing film with one sexy hunk (Jacob :)), dumb characters (The Volturi and the entire character line-up) and two wasted hours of my life. I know I mentioned pointless twice, not a typo.

I thought that Jacob was a really sweet guy, friend and hero when Bella really needed one and I enjoyed the friendly banter between the two, in my opinion he is a much more sensible choice for Bella to fall in love with, but she selfishly misused his love for her and dishonestly led him on.

There is this one scene between the two of them where Bella stupidly hurts herself and she feels blood on her forehead and apologizes, then Jacob says “Bella, you’re apologizing for bleeding?” I just think with Jacob, she could of have something closer to a normal less intense life. Listen to me rattle on about this stuff like its real, it’s a good thing this is my blog and I can say whatever I want. Nevertheless, my apologies for my longwinded yet miniature Twilight review.

Hottie!

As for Vampire Diaries’ Damon; he is or was a bad guy for hundreds of years, spilling many innocent blood, but his love for Elena has given him a change of heart. Does that undo what he did or who he was? Why do we always root for the bad guys?

I think it’s because they are often sexier and more intriguing, thus that is the case here. Nevertheless, should I continue to watch the show in hopes that something evolves between these two characters?

To be honest, this t.v show doesn’t add to my life in anyway. I’m not sure I’m into the direction its heading. The only thing to keep me watching and chop it up to a guilty pleasure is the hopes that something (not necessarily sex) happened between Damon and Elena, and that’s not very likely to happen, and if it does. Where would the story go from there? What would happen to Stephen and Damon’s relationship? More drama!

Right now I have 5 unwatched VD episodes in my Tivo recordings; I’ve just not been in the VD mode lately. Lately I’ve desired feel-good wholesome entertainment. Not love triangle, blood spilling, supernatural creatures at war type stuff.

So what to you think, delete them, cancel the season pass and move on? Besides doing that would fit into two of my 2011 goals, to fill my mind with more positive things and watch tv less, read more. I was just keeping the recordings there just in case I got in the VD mood again. Other stuff I have canceled season passes for lately (late last year) because I wasn’t feeling the drama and direction the shows were heading are The Good Wife (got too political for me, it’s a shame, I really loved the first season) and Hellcats (Too much drama and sex for me).

I think I’ve made my decision. Still let me know what you think? Thanks for bearing with my rambling.

Hot Guy! Dumb Franchise!

Are they any shows you are thinking you should stop watching?

Still think U.S Marshall Annie Frost looks like a carbon copy of U.S Marshall Mary Shannon (In Plain Sight) and Det. It’s good to see Jesse Metcalfe (cutie from Desperate Housewives) back on t.v again.
