Not that the show has disappointed me or diminished in quality or mystery in anyway. When last I watched, it was still pretty interesting; although the relationship between Stephen and Elena was starting to bore and irritate me a bit. Here ABC’s Fall Lineup. ABC and I have a love hate relationship, I like their bold choices in the stuff they put on TV. Shows I have come to love very much has come and gone from this network. Shows such as Ugly Betty; Eli Stone; Pushing Daisies; Cupid. This network takes risk but then soon after putting a really colorful, unique show on TV, they run away scared. They quit on it.  I mean in some cases that is a well warranted move, for such shows like Cavemen, Carpoolers (wasn’t all that bad) and Life on Mars (didn’t think that was a very good show). Discussing the Show and Writer  

Did you know that the planned title of “Secret Life” was originally to be “The Sex Life of the American Teenager?” Imagine the things that would have popped up if you typed that in the search engines back then before the show became so popular. I wish I had $100 for every time someone says the word sex in every episode; I’d be rich. Now knowing what Brenda Hampton, the show’s writer and also of “7th Heaven” fame,  intended to call this show, I understand why 90% of the show’s content is discussions about sex and people young and old having sex.
