If you are looking for a hosting company to host your website or blog then why not use the one I use.
When I first started my blog I hosted with the most popular web hosting company online. The hosting was fine but I can’t say the same about the customer service. If I needed help with something it took me forever just to get hold of a real person instead of a machine. I never got treated the way I think I should as a customer. Because I was new to this and had no idea what I was doing it became a growing heap of fustration. Anyway I won’t bore you with the whole story.

Eventually I was pointed in the right direction by a good friend. I moved my site to SvgWebHost.com. I must say I never knew it could be so easy. SvgWebHost took care of the entire moving process for me.
I have been hosting with them now for a few years and I can say the service is excellent. I can always get the answers I need when I have questions. I am still a novice at the technical stuff and when I call, I get straight forward easy to understand answers.
If you are planning to put up a website or Blog I highly recommend SvgWebHost.com.
No BS, no hassle web hosting.

Check Them Out Now!

According to Michael Ausiello of The Ausiello Files Blog (ew.com) “the outlook had been bleak since last March, when many of Tribune Station Group’s markets dropped the syndicated series, which had been developed from Terry Goodkind’s fantasy novels by
Hercules/Xena producers Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert. ABC Studios, which produces it, kept shopping it around. But, I’m told, they found no takers.”

I’m really going to miss this one. It was an exciting and at times thought-provoking seires.I looked forward to watching this with my husband (who is also a fan) every week. It was quite an adventure.

posted by Lindsay Robertson – Sat Mar 6 2010, 11:32 PM PST

When Sandra Bullock found out she was nominated for a Worst Actress award in this year’s Golden Raspberry contest for her work in the summer oddball comedy “All About Steve,” she promised to attend the ceremony and claim her prize if she won.

Despite the Oscar nominee’s very busy weekend, Bullock followed through on her vow, showing up at the ceremony in Los Angeles carting a wagon full of “All About Steve” DVDs and a refreshing sense of humor for a movie star.

But Bullock — who is a major Best Actress contender for her role in “The Blind Side” — wasn’t just there to poke fun at herself. The actress, who also co-produced “All About Steve,” was there to defend her film. Despite bad reviews, it actually made a profit at the box office.

“Something tells me you all didn’t watch the film,” Bullock said as she accepted the award at Barnsdall Gallery Theater in Hollywood.

That’s where her little wagon full of DVDs came in. “We brought everybody in the audience a DVD of ‘All About Steve,’” Bullock said. She told them that if they all watched the film and decided that it wasn’t that bad, she would come back next year to “give back the Razzie.”

Bullock also had a copy of the movie script on hand, and joked that she would stay there all night going line-by-line with the audience to see if she could have delivered it better than she did on film.

Bullock’s good humor is unusual for the Razzies, a ceremony dedicated to showcasing the worst films and performances to come out of Hollywood each year. However, she’s not the first star to show up and claim her trophy. Halle Berry famously accepted hers in 2005 for “Catwoman,” and other celebrities who’ve made the Razzie walk of shame include Tom Green (for “Freddy Got Fingered”) and director Paul Verhoeven (for “Showgirls”).

But Bullock didn’t just win Worst Actress for “All About Steve” — she also shared the Worst Couple award with her co-star Bradley Cooper, not in attendance. “Again, if you had seen the film, seen it with your eyes, it’s pretty much a film about a woman stalking a man,” she joked. “That doesn’t really set up the premise for a loving couple. So giving us the Worst Couple award is kind of duh.”

Bullock also voiced her suspicion that she only won because she’d promised to attend the ceremony if she did, joking: “I said I would show up and then I miraculously won!” Actually, Bullock had to go out of her way to attend the ceremony, which is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. She had to briefly break away from her hosting gig at a charity event called “The Night Before,” benefitting the Motion Picture Television Fund Foundation, in order to accept her Worst Actress award. If Bullock wins Best Actress tonight at the Oscars, she’ll be the first person ever to win a Razzie and an Oscar in the same year.

Bullock wasn’t the only Razzie “winner” Saturday night. Here’s a full list of this year’s worst films and performers.

Thoughts on Article:

I love Sandra Bullock. Not a big fan of “All About Steve” unfortunately, especially since I paid $4.99 On Demand to see it and was a little bit disappointed at the ending. However, I think the movie carries a nice message and her acting most certainly did not suck. Even if the movie did, which I am not sure (have to watch it again and see). I love her in “The Proposal” and have not yet seen “The Blind Side,” it looks like a really positive and inspirational move, I am looking forward to seeing it.

The only two seasons of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise I ever watched was The Bachelorette Season Four with Deanna and The Bachelor Season Thirteen with Jason Mesnick. I really like Jason and wanted to know who he ends up with. I also still am interested in were Deanna Pappas life takes her, as well.

I wanted Deanna to choose Jason so bad it hurt. I was very disappointed when she choose Jesse instead and I really felt that was a mistake and I was right.

Anyhew, the end of The Bachelor, Season Thirteen turned out way differently than I expected with Jason choosing Melissa Rycroft; then dumping her for Molly Malaney an hour (six weeks in non reality-t.v time) later.

Well, it was all for the best. Both Deanna and Jason turned out to be a bit more fickle than I thought, but nobody’s perfect. Melissa did get married in December to Tye Strickland who helped mend her broken heart after her very public break-up with Jason Mesnick. I am proud of the way she has moved on with her life and made a name for herself outside of that mess.

Well, guess who is getting married today? Yup, it’s Jason and Molly. How sweet! I am glad they made it to this point. I hope both couples are in it for the long haul. My prayers are with them.

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney’s wedding will air in a two-hour ABC special, The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Wedding, on March 8. I’m watching. What about you?

On another note; does anybody know what Deanna Pappas is up to these days? I may not agree with every decision she made where her t.v life is concerned but I still wish her a happy ending. Everyone who isn’t evil to the core deserves a happy ending.

On another note, believe it or not Molly was actually the one girl I hoped Jason wouldn’t end up with. She just rubbed me the wrong way right in the beginning, but a man’s got to paddle his own canoe. I really to wish them, all the happiness destiny has in store.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Less than a year after dethroned Miss California USA Carrie Prejean stirred up controversy with her remarks against gay marriage, a similar war of words is brewing in Beverly Hills.

Beverly Hills Mayor Nancy Krasne said Wednesday she is outraged over a Miss California USA contestant who is claiming to represent the city in the upcoming pageant and who spoke out against same-sex marriage in recent media interviews.

Krasne said in a statement that 23-year-old Lauren Ashley does not live in Beverly Hills or represent the city in any capacity. Krasne said she was shocked to see statements made by a beauty pageant contestant under the name of Beverly Hills, “which has a long history of tolerance and respect.”

Ashley recently told Fox News and other media outlets that same-sex marriage goes against God and the Bible.

Keith Lewis, a K2 Productions stage director for the Miss California USA pageant, told the Los Angeles Times that contestants choose the area they represent and Ashley chose to compete as Miss Beverly Hills in November 2010.

A phone listing for Ashley could not be found.

Krasne said the city has contacted Miss California USA pageant officials to determine ways to formally prevent any beauty contestants from claiming the title of Miss Beverly Hills in the future.

Ashley’s comments came just months after Prejean, the former Miss California USA 2009, reached a confidential settlement with pageant organizers on dueling lawsuits over her outspoken stance against gay marriage.

Prejean sued Miss California USA organizers in August for libel, slander and religious discrimination. She accused them of telling her to stop mentioning God even before her controversial remarks against gay marriage.

Prejean was fired in June after pageant officials accused her of missing events, an allegation she denied. The pageant later countersued Prejean.

Prejean said she was dethroned because she said during the Miss USA pageant that gays shouldn’t be allowed to marry.

“I never stopped thinking I would find him,” the 59-year-old father said, squeezing his son’s arm during a packed news conference Tuesday.

“For the first time, I know who I was. Who I am,” the young man said, still marveling at his new identity: Francisco Madariaga Quintela, a name he only learned last week.

The Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo rights group believes about 400 children were stolen at birth from women who were kidnapped and killed as part of the 1976-1983 dictatorship’s “dirty war” against political dissidents, which killed as many as 30,000 people.

Madariaga and his wife, Silvia Quintela, were members of the Montoneros, a leftist group targeted for elimination by government death squads. He last saw his wife — a 28-year-old surgeon who treated the poor in a Buenos Aires suburb — being pushed into a Ford Falcon by army officers dressed as civilians as she walked to a train on Jan. 17, 1977.

Madariaga managed to flee into exile to avoid the same fate. Ever since, he has made finding the children of those who disappeared his life’s cause.

Returning to a democratic Argentina in 1983, he became the grandmothers group’s secretary and first male member. He lobbied the government to create a DNA database and dedicate judicial resources to the effort, and developed strategies for persuading young people with doubts about their identities to come forward and get DNA tests.

All the while, his own son’s fate remained a mystery.

As it turned out, Quintela gave birth to the son the couple had planned to name Francisco in July 1977 while imprisoned in one of Argentina’s largest and most notorious clandestine torture centers, the Campo de Mayo in suburban Buenos Aires. Surviving prisoners later reported that the newborn was taken from her the next day, and she disappeared shortly thereafter.

A military intelligence officer, Victor Alejandro Gallo, brought the baby, his umbilical cord still attached, home to his wife, Ines Susana Colombo. They named him Alejandro Ramiro Gallo and never told him he was adopted. The marriage didn’t last — Gallo was a violent man, Francisco Madariaga said — and he never felt like he belonged, looking nothing like his brother and sister.

While the Gallo family fell apart, the younger Madariaga escaped in his own way, twice touring Europe as a professional juggler.

Meanwhile, Gallo was convicted of murdering a couple and their child during a robbery in 1994 and served a 10-year prison term.

Francisco Madariaga’s doubts increased, until finally he confronted his adoptive mother. “She broke down and was able to tell me the truth,” he recalled, adding that he can’t say he blames her. “There was so much violence — physical and mental — and she suffered. She also was a victim.”

On Feb. 3, encouraged by his friends, the young man and Colombo approached the grandmothers group to tell their story. Fearful of Gallo, they rushed to take a blood test the next day, and DNA results arrived last week. Father and son finally met on Friday — the same day Gallo was arrested on suspicion of illegal adoption.

Colombo also has been detained and questioned, according to an attorney for the grandmothers group, Alan Iud. Colombo and Gallo are represented by public defenders who didn’t respond to calls after hours Tuesday.

Trembling before the cameras, Abel Madariaga recalled his reunion with his son.

“When he came through the door that night, we recognized each other totally, and the hug that brought us together was spectacular,” he said.

Over the years, the grandmothers group has succeeded in identifying 100 children of the disappeared. Madariaga has organized many news conferences announcing such victories. This time, his chest heaved as he presented his own son to the world.

“At times I wondered what the hell I was living for. I had to find a way to continue, thinking about everyday things, hoping for this moment of happiness,” the elder Madariaga said. “Hugging him that first time, it was as if I filled a hole in my soul.”

Francisco Madariaga stopped smiling only at the mention of the name he was given by the Gallos.

“Never again” will I use this name, he said. “To have your identity is the most beautiful thing there is.”
