The Sentencing of Casey Anthony

Article by Amy Pavuk and Anthony Colarossi, Orlando Sentinel Source: www.latimes.com

Chief Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Casey Anthony this morning for lying to police, giving her four years in jail and credit for the time she’s already served since 2008.

Considering how much time she’s already served and other factors, court officials said Anthony will be released from the Orange County Jail on July 13.

She was fined $4,000, or $1,000 for each conviction. She also must pay $618 in other costs. Read the rest of this entry »

Remembering Caylee Marie Anthony

Politics and Law, I often stay out of them. I watch the news now and then and learn a little about issues that are connected to these two  subjects. When it came to the election of President Barack Obama, I paid attention and the Trial of mom Casey Anthony caught my attention, it fascinated me, it left me with big unanswered questions, and the biggest of all is; what really happened to that beautiful little girl (Caylee Anthony)? Casey Anthony Not Guilty of Murder

Casey Anthony Not Guilty of Murder, I can’t believe it’s not butter.

Casey Anthony with her defense attorneys, After nearly six weeks of testimony, a panel of seven women and five men decided that Ms. Anthony did not murder Caylee by dosing her with Chloroform, suffocating her with duct tape and dumping her in a wooded area, as prosecutors claimed. They did, however, find her guilty of lesser charges, of providing false information to law enforcement officers.

I have been following this case from the very start. From the time little Caylee went missing to the moment they found Casey Anthony NOT GUILTY. Sure the Prosecution’s case was greatly circumstantial. But what else could have happened to this little Caylee if her mom did not kill her. Who killed her? Will we ever know the truth?

This is our judicial system at work.

Lady Gaga-What the Gaga are you talking about?

Now, I’m not writing this article from a judgmental stand point, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2 NIV, but more out of wonder and curiosity.  Read the rest of this entry »

Affordable And Reliable Web Hosting

Need Affordable and Reliable Web Hosting

If you are looking for a hosting company to host your website or blog then why not use the one I use. When I first started my blog I hosted with the most popular web hosting company online. The hosting was fine but I can’t say the same about the customer service. If I needed help with something it took me forever just to get hold of a real person instead of a machine. I never got treated the way I think I should as a customer. Because I was new to this and had no idea what I was doing it became a growing heap of frustration. Anyway I won’t bore you with the whole story. Read the rest of this entry »

Sad News for Legend of the Seeker fans

I just read some really depressing news for Legend of the Seeker fans. The cult favorite has been canceled.

According to Michael Ausiello of The Ausiello Files Blog (ew.com) “the outlook had been bleak since last March, when many of Tribune Station Group’s markets dropped the syndicated series, which had been developed from Terry Goodkind’s fantasy novels by Read the rest of this entry »

Congratulations Sandra Bullock-Love U!

Sandra Bullock wins an Oscar for “The Blind Side” and a Razzie for “All About Steve” in the same week. She is an incredibly funny and versatile actress. She seems to be a very sweet, humble and loving woman. I love to watch her grace and humor on screen. I am a big fan of her work and I’m very happy for both wins. Hey, publicity (for your work) is publicity.  Read the rest of this entry »

Sandra Bullock has a refreshing sense of humor-Loooovve her!

Sandra Bullock Shows Up to Claim ‘Worst Actress’ Razzie Award

posted by Lindsay Robertson – Sat Mar 6 2010, 11:32 PM PST

When Sandra Bullock found out she was nominated for a Worst Actress award in this year’s Golden Raspberry contest for her work in the summer oddball comedy “All About Steve,” she promised to attend the ceremony and claim her prize if she won.

Despite the Oscar nominee’s very busy weekend, Bullock followed through on her vow, showing up at the ceremony in Los Angeles carting a wagon full of “All About Steve” DVDs and a refreshing sense of humor for a movie star.

But Bullock — who is a major Best Actress contender for her role in “The Blind Side” — wasn’t just there to poke fun at herself. The actress, who also co-produced “All About Steve,” was there to defend her film. Despite bad reviews, it actually made a profit at the box office. Read the rest of this entry »

Jason Mesnick is getting Married

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney

The only two seasons of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise I ever watched was The Bachelorette Season Four with Deanna and The Bachelor Season Thirteen with Jason Mesnick. I really like Jason and wanted to know who he ends up with. I also still am interested in were Deanna Pappas life takes her, as well.

I wanted Deanna to choose Jason so bad it hurt. I was very disappointed when she choose Jesse instead and I really felt that was a mistake and I was right.

Anyhew, the end of The Bachelor, Season Thirteen turned out way differently than I expected with Jason choosing Melissa Rycroft; then dumping her for Molly Malaney an hour (six weeks in non reality-t.v time) later.

Well, it was all for the best. Both Deanna and Jason turned out to be a bit more fickle than I thought, but nobody’s perfect. Melissa did get married in December to Tye Strickland who helped mend her broken heart after her very public break-up with Jason Mesnick. I am proud of the way she has moved on with her life and made a name for herself outside of that mess.

Well, guess who is getting married today? Yup, it’s Jason and Molly. How sweet! I am glad they made it to this point. I hope both couples are in it for the long haul. My prayers are with them.

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney’s wedding will air in a two-hour ABC special, The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Wedding, on March 8. I’m watching. What about you?

On another note; does anybody know what Deanna Pappas is up to these days? I may not agree with every decision she made where her t.v life is concerned but I still wish her a happy ending. Everyone who isn’t evil to the core deserves a happy ending.

On another note, believe it or not Molly was actually the one girl I hoped Jason wouldn’t end up with. She just rubbed me the wrong way right in the beginning, but a man’s got to paddle his own canoe. I really to wish them, all the happiness destiny has in store.
