I know, I remember hearing promises like that in God’s word. I can’t remember if I read it, or if I heard a Pastor say it, but I do remember hearing the promise that God would restore twice as much as you lost to those who hope in Him. This morning I was looking at some photos from four years ago, reminiscing. I remember four years ago when I looked at these pictures I felt ashamed of my weight. Now I look at them, I think, wow, I use to be skinny (at least skinnier) and very attractive (not that I’m not still attractive). My skin tone was much more caramel like, because I still lived in the Caribbean at that time and had more access to the sun.

Well I can tell you what I want? I want to be a more confident and balanced (as much as anyone can honestly be balanced in this life) woman. I want to be the best mom it is in my capability to be, ditto, as far as being a writer is concerned. I want to be a happier person, no matter what my current life’s situation is like. Well, it’s been months since my last blog post. How you doing? What can I say; I have been trying to figure out this mommy/grown-up thing. I don’t know if I have quite got it yet.

My writing juices haven’t been flowing the way I’d like them too much either. It’s been a challenging few months. Hope I am not rambling. It’s my blog anyway, so I guess I can get away with that here.

However, I feel change in the atmosphere, as well as that Christmas magic that envelop the air this time of year.

I love Christmas so much. I feel so good around this time that no challenge set before me could change the spirit of hope firing up inside me.

So I think I’m ready to blog again. I hope you keep on coming back and enjoy what I have to say!
