It’s Spring!

Well, even though it hasn’t fully started to feel like Spring where I live. I know its coming, a new beautiful awakening is coming. Change is coming to my life and beauty is coming all around. We’ll see God’s creatures flittering and running around, beautiful colors everywhere, flowers blossoming. I’m excited. So let me share a poem I wrote about Spring. Time Changes Perspectives

This morning I was looking at some photos from four years ago, reminiscing. I remember four years ago when I looked at these pictures I felt ashamed of my weight. Now I look at them, I think, wow, I use to be skinny (at least skinnier) and very attractive (not that I’m not still attractive). My skin tone was much more caramel like, because I still lived in the Caribbean at that time and had more access to the sun.

The Book and the Rose

A Short film based on the short story written by Max Lucado entitled “The People with Roses” found in the book “And the Angels were Silent” by Max Lucado.

 I watched this short film on TBN last night, and found it to be a very beautiful story that truly came together and exerted its significance at the very end.

The Mission

Right now my daughter is in our living room watching a Sesame Street DVD, and singing and dancing along with Oscar the Grouch to the song “I love Trash;” and I am smiling on the inside of my soul. Life

I’m not referring to the new show that premiered on various channels like Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC and others recently, a mini-series  about life on this beautiful and amazing planet, aptly named “Life.”  Neither, am I talking about canceled NBC t.v series (which I very much liked) also called “Life,” about a reinstated police detective who was previously serving a life sentence in prison.
