The Battle/Wonderfully Made/ The Two Mes
You may be wondering what’s up with the three titles above. Well, honestly I didn’t want to choose between any of these three prospective titles because they all reflect what I am going to write about. So you pick whichever one you like the best and let me know, okay.
Ugly Betty-Million Dollar Smile
Is it me or are these final episodes of the Ugly Betty series a bit disappointing? I can’t put my foot on it, but something feels off; it just feel like the writers aren’t even trying anymore. Where are the awesome one-liners, and the Ugly Betty quirk and vivacity? Read the rest of this entry »
Discussing the Characters of “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”
Discussing the Show and Writer
Did you know that the planned title of “Secret Life” was originally to be “The Sex Life of the American Teenager?” Imagine the things that would have popped up if you typed that in the search engines back then before the show became so popular. I wish I had $100 for every time someone says the word sex in every episode; I’d be rich. Now knowing what Brenda Hampton, the show’s writer and also of “7th Heaven” fame, intended to call this show, I understand why 90% of the show’s content is discussions about sex and people young and old having sex. Life
I’m not referring to the new show that premiered on various channels like Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC and others recently, a mini-series about life on this beautiful and amazing planet, aptly named “Life.” Neither, am I talking about canceled NBC t.v series (which I very much liked) also called “Life,” about a reinstated police detective who was previously serving a life sentence in prison.

The Body of Christ
I was having a conversation via Skype with my mom a few nights ago. She seemed so sad and discouraged; and rightly so, I guess. She is going through a lot in her life right now and unfortunately her faith that it’ll all turn out okay is not as strong as it should be.
Keeping the faith in these difficult times in our lives is not as easy to do as it is to say. Yes, we believe in God and that his son died to save us. However, as human beings it is in our nature to desire the warmth of human touch, the love of friendship and the security that you are loved and appreciated wholly by your peers, and that they care about your well-being. Video Review-a Christian Perspective- Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce-Telephone Music Video
This is my God-eye view of this music video or as I like to call it, stolen 9 minutes and 32 seconds. Wow, I’m almost at a lost for words. How many of you actually liked this video? Read the rest of this entry »
